The start of the company initially started in the spring of 1994 when Kevin became a DJ at the Beaver Dam roller rink. At this time, there was no experience in the DJ circuit and Kevin simply thought that "DJ'ing" was just playing music really loud on a pair of speakers. After working at the roller rink for a year, Kevin slowly learned how to entertain after realizing that the talent portion of playing this music had much more to do than just playing music. After Kevin left the roller rink, equipment was aquired by asking for a CD player, and a mixer for Christmas and birthday gifts. The sIn 1995, Kevin was called to principal's office at the middle school where he attended. After finding out that the DJ for the day's events called and cancelled, the school was left without a DJ. The principal asked Kevin if he could DJ. The very first DJ show was done with school equipment and CD's provided the rest of the middle schoolers that attended the school. The sound system was a home stereo system that was owned by his brother "KC". KC joined the company as co-owner in 1995 and Kevin changed the name to but didn't have a name.
